Miu Miu is the Venice Film Festival

  MIU MIU return to the Venice Film Festival this year with the fifth and sixth episodes of the Tales series of women's shorts.

As in previous years, each generation will be the work of a woman director. The door of Ava Duvernay and Le Donne della Vuccirira of Hiam Abbas and the new invisible sixth series will be both the first 29 August, WWD reports. Following the same format as last year, the films - in partnership with the independent film company in Venice Days - will be accompanied by discussion groups on the role of women in cinema.

In 2013 Venice Film Festival takes place from 28 August - 7 September. The festival is directed by Alfonso Cuarón and Gravity with George Clooney and Sandra Bullock to open.
